New Years Resolution

Ok so as you know the picture a day thing is just not going to well. I made it a while but it just didn't work out. Now I am so far behind that I can't catch up. So my new years resolution this year is going to be to post to this blog weekly. I will post an update on Monday letting you know what in the heck we are up to. Hopefully I can throw in a few pictures for you as well!

Surprise Evening

John and I decided that we were not going to do much for Christmas this year for each other. We just didn't really have the money and if we want something usually we just go get it. So we agreed to spend it on the kids. Last Wednesday the kids stayed the night with their Aunt while on Christmas break. I was so excited to just come home after work instead of having to run around all night. JJ asked me to call when I left town and headed home so that he could finish up dinner. When I got home I pulled into the garage and gathered up all the crap that I drag around with me all day. When I got to the door there was a card and a yellow rose posted to the door. It was a thank you card. I won't go into detail for fear of embarrassing my wonderful husband. Anyway as I opened the door there was a trail of roses to follow and candles all the way to my master bathroom. There was another card attached to the bathroom door, again no details. When I went into the bathroom there was a nice hot bath and a drink waiting for me. It was so nice. I felt so good to just relax. He did a wonderful job!
